Order Dispatch & Delivery Timeline
- All orders are dispatched within 2-3 days of order confirmation via standard courier partners. A tracking link will be shared upon dispatch.
- Delivery within India typically takes 6-10 working days. For international orders, the timeline may vary based on destination and customs procedures.
- Note: During sale events, dispatch and delivery may take longer. As our products are handmade, delays may also occur due to artisan unavailability.
Where We Deliver
- Domestic Shipping: We deliver to all postal addresses in India, except P.O. boxes. Please provide a complete address with PIN code for smooth delivery.
- International Shipping: We ship worldwide. However, certain countries may impose restrictions on specific products. Customers should verify local regulations before placing an order.
Important: Deliveries are made during the courier company’s working hours, which may vary across locations. No shipments are processed on Sundays or public holidays.
Domestic Shipping in India
- Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders within India.
- Ensure the complete and correct postal address with PIN code is provided. Delays due to incomplete addresses are not our responsibility.
- Shipments to colleges, schools, or hostels are placed at the customer’s risk. Refusal of delivery by the institution will not entitle the customer to refunds or re-shipping.
- For specific delivery dates, mention the desired date in the “gift message” box at checkout. Orders without a specified delivery date will be delivered at the earliest possible opportunity.
International Shipping
- Shipping charges are calculated separately for international orders, based on the product weight, package size, destination, and shipping method (express or ordinary).
- International customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, and any import taxes levied by their country. These charges are not included in our shipping costs.
- Shipments may be delayed due to customs clearance, local events, or natural calamities.
Transit Times
- Within India: Orders typically arrive within 8-15 working days post-dispatch.
- Outside India: Delivery timelines depend on factors like customs clearance, regional circumstances, or unforeseen events. Average transit time is 10-20 working days.
- Orders may arrive in multiple shipments due to product availability or packaging requirements.
Tracking Your Order
- Customers will receive SMS/email updates at each stage: order confirmation, packing, and shipping.
- Tracking details will be available through the link provided in the shipment email or in the “Track Order” section of your Kolgold account.
Address & Shipping Policies
- Address Changes: Domestic address changes are allowed within 24 hours of placing the order by emailing us at sales@kolgold.com. International address changes are not accommodated once the order is confirmed.
- Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses: Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Re-shipping charges for incorrect addresses will be borne by the customer.
Packaging
- All orders are carefully packed to ensure safe transit. Fragile items are packed with additional protective materials.
- For international orders, special packaging is used to minimize the risk of damage during customs inspections.
Time to Ship
- Orders are dispatched within 3-4 working days, except for COD orders, which may require additional verification time.
- For international orders, shipping may take 4-6 working days, depending on document clearances and custom formalities.
Cancellation Policy
- Orders are handcrafted with care by rural artisans. Cancellations after order confirmation may impact their livelihood. We request our customers to avoid cancellations.
- Prepaid Orders: Cancellations are not allowed once the product has been dispatched.
- COD Orders: Orders will only be processed after confirmation via phone or email. Once confirmed, cancellations are not permitted.
- Custom or Bulk Orders: Cancellations are not accepted for custom-made or bulk orders.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
- In case of lost shipments, we wait for 15 days before reprocessing the order.
- We are not responsible for damages caused by customs inspections for international shipments.
GST, VAT & Customs Duties
- GST and VAT charges are applicable for domestic orders as per Indian laws.
- For international orders, import duties, VAT, and other levies must be paid directly by the customer.
